I strive to create the artist books I want to see. Each artist book features original abstract art on paper - no words - assembled by hand with simple binding. Each book is improvised, driven by my curiosity and desire for novelty. I enjoy the ambiguity of abstraction combined with the linear form of a book to suggest a narrative.

Each series of books begins with an idea or theme. These themes revolve around a specific color palette, pattern, and/or multi-media experimentation. These series resemble small editions of 3-10 books that share a similar style, but are one of a kind. I love artwork that includes evidence of the artist’s/maker’s efforts, so I embody that approach in my artist books by finding a balance of polish and tangible originality.
